The speaker is also a lawyer for Cartersville and he represents the data trying to buy the Bethel Church Road Property, we are guessing that he works on behalf of Atlas helped set up the land deal .
What he says is sickening. One of the men asks a very good question about health concerns and mentions studies . Then Bowen says “Oh we put one right on School property in Rome Georgia no big deal!”
Why is it that every one of the other projects, even the small ones had alot of discussion and opposition but the data center was pretty much pushed through as fast as possible. I live in the proposed Tidwell area and never heard of any of this! My backyard butts right up to the property line of where they want to put this. There are no signs put up in the area that this is happening. No public notification. There are many areas that this can be built on that wouldn’t impact our quiet neighborhoods. Where this is proposed will also impact the wildlife of the area. The noise, air and water pollution should be enough to put the brakes on this kind of project in our rural community. If it has to be built in Paulding then maybe look for an area that is not surrounded by homes. Regardless of what that man said I believe the property values will go down. Our electricity bill will go up. Our water will also suffer.
